DIMAPUR, MARCH 5 (MExN): The Government Registered Electrical Contractors Union (GRECU) Dimapur District has cautioned against unauthorized persons carrying out internal electrification works and providing service connections without test certificates. A press note from the Action Committee of the Union stated that this practice is “against the ethics of the department” and informed that the Nagaland Electrical Contractors Union will henceforth keep vigil against such unauthorized persons, executing electrical works, either big or small. It further informed that the penalty would be strictly enforced upon the person/party or any government servant, lineman, assistant lineman, jugali or retired government servant who carries out unauthorized electrification works. In order to obtain information regarding electrification, the public have been informed to intimate the registered contractors, who are assigned as area in charge within Dimapur district or the Convener of the Action Committee, Dimapur at 9436609368, 8731010818 or 9615687211.
