The Nagaland Teachers and the ACAUT were protecting their Rights in peaceful Assembly when the Government of Nagaland used disproportionate Force and Violence against them, this is intemperate and unjustified. The Government of Nagaland acted like a Russian Oligarchy.
Some 4 years ago three women sang a song at the Cathedral of Christ Saviour in Moscow. They sang:
“Mother Mary, Please Drive Putin Away”!
The Women were promptly arrested, put in the lock-up and then after 5 months, they were all sentenced to 31/2 years in Jail.
There was world wide Protests and Condemnations of the Russian Actions as Undemocratic, Intemperate and Severe.
In Nagaland, just the other day on 15 December, the Government used Water Cannon, Tear Gas and Police Baton Charges on peaceful Assembly of the ACAUT at Khermahal Traffic Junction Dimapur. This Point is well outside the Government’s declared Curfew Zone of 100 meters around the Dimapur City Tower.
Before that the Government used the same Water Cannon on Non-Violent Teachers at Kohima. The Teachers were Protecting their Rights for Payment of the Teaching Services they rendered to the Government for many Months. And they were shot with Water Cannon!
These show Nagaland Government’s increasing nervousness at every Non-Violent Peaceful Public Assembly. What do the Government fear from unarmed peaceful Teachers and the ACAUT? ACAUT’s only aim is to clean the Naga Society of the hopeless Corruption at high Places and the Unauthorised Taxation of NSCN and the NNC (Non-Accordist Groups). ACAUT is only out doing what the Government has become hopelessly ineffective!
Earlier, I phoned an ACAUT Member who was present at the unnecessary Repackaging of the Government Rice from Gunny Bags to Plastic Bags at the Godown.
I asked;
“Was the Godown opened by breaking open the Lock? Or how and who opened the Godown?”
I was replied:
“There were several complaints ACAUT received earlier saying that illegal Re-packaging of rice is going on in the Godown. So some of us ACAUT Members went to see it. Indeed, when we reached the Godown, We saw it open and Labourers were re-packaging Rice into the ellagedly illegal Plastic Bags.
Then, We went and Reported the matter to the Deputy Commissioner who sent the SDO and Police to the Godown to investigate. Village Functionaries around the Godown and ACAUT Members also went with them. There were News Papers Reporters too with us in the Group. Then, the Police closed the Godown”.
If these things are true and there is every reasons that they would be, because of the presence of the SDO, the Police in the Godown closing Party together with the News Reporters.
If the Godown was CLOSED BY THE POLICE IN THE PRESENCE OF THE SDO and IN FRONT OF THE NEWS REPORTERS TOGETHER WITH THE FUNCTIONARIES OF 13 VILLAGES AROUND THE GODOWN, then there is no strenght in the Government ellegation that the “ACAUT did illegal criminal Tresspass and created Law and Order problem”.
If the ACAUT had broken-open the Godown by force secretively or clendestinely, then that could be a Tresspass, but it was the Owner of the Godowns who openned the Godown for their own purpose and were doing their own work of re-packaging the Rice into the Plastic Bags!
Then where is the Criminal Trespass and creation of Law and Order Problem by ACAUT as alleged by the Government?
Is the Government of Nagaland run by dishonest Liar Oligarchs jailing those who speak the Truth? Nagaland appears increasingly jitery, intemperate and nervous Oligarchy! Oh God save Nagaland from this Oligarchy!
