Have courage to seek forgiveness: NSCN (K)

Dimapur, January 12 (MExN): The NSCN-Khaplang has asked the GPRN/NSCN-Khole/Kitovi to “justify their bloody fratricidal policies” and “have the courage to seek forgiveness from the families of those slain by them, especially the comrades from NSCN-IM.” A note from the group today blamed the GPRN/NSCN for “every conflict that occurred with the IM.”

“Since the signing of COR (‘covenant or reconciliation’) bitter past between the two NSCN’s has been buried. Attempting to revive the past bitterness and mutual conflict within the Naga family by Khole and Kitovi only reveals the duo’s insanity,” a note from the NSCN-Khaplang said. “Because Kitovi in the capacity as the ato kilonser and Khole as the commander-in-chief under SS Khaplang’s leadership were responsible for every conflict that occurred with the IM. Khole and Kitovi had been the mastermind of every regrettable incident that happened between the two entity since the unfortunate split between the NSCN.”

SS Khaplang “remained aloof” and delegated the authority to Khole and Kitovi to take “every urgent/on the spot decisions in Nagaland state” but the duo ‘took undue advantages and betrayed SS. Khaplang’ the note said.

“It is therefore obligatory on the part of Khole and Kitovi to justify their bloody fratricidal policies before the Nagas rather than irrelevantly trying to embroil the ENPO or the NSCN/GPRN. If at all the duo are sincere in their so called ‘peace and reconciliation’ slogan, they also should have the courage to seek forgiveness from the families of those slain by them, especially the comrades from NSCN-IM,” the note added.
