Kohima, December 16 (MExN): The Department of Health & Family Welfare held its pre-Christmas celebration on December 16 at the Directorate building.
Delivering Christmas greetings, Menukhol John, Commissioner & Secretary H&FW, said Christmas is the time of giving and as such he called upon the staff and officers present, to be more sincere in delivering health care to the people. On behalf of the Department, Menukhol also wished all the other State departments and the people of Nagaland a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.
Dr. Yangerlemla, Principal Director, H&FW also said that, Christmas is the time to share with the less fortunate and wished that everyone present, in our little ways will be able to do that, this year. She also added that Christmas is the time to forget and forgive and appealed that everyone will be to imbibe this spirit. The programme was chaired by Dr. Nungshimeren, Dy. Director, H&FW, a special number was presented by Miakhriehu and the benediction was delivered by Dr. Neiphi Kire, Director, H&FW.
