Herbal House now in Kohima town

Secretary to the Governor and ATI director V. Shashank Shekar, IAS, today formally inaugurated Herbal House and Training on Aloe Vera based herbal medicine preparation at the Urban Health Centre, Keyake.

Addressing the gathering, Shekar said with the changing of different climatic condition in the world, today even teenager have diseases of old age people. He said health is one of the major concern for everyone. He said to live a better life, we have to fine better medicine to keep our health wealthy. There is no doubt that “Health is wealth”, he said adding that a wealthy man with poor health cannot enjoy his life Money cannot buy health and happiness, he added. He also maintained that herbal medicine cures almost all the health problems and keep one body fits and healthy. Comparing to other medicine, natural herbal is one of the best forms of medicines, as it does not have sight effect, he said.

Earlier, Urban Health Centre chairman Dr. M. Catherine Rutsa chaired the programme.

Later, demonstration & training on Herbal Medicine preparation took place at ATI.
