Dimapur, October 4 (MExN): Nagaland Minister for Health and Family Welfare S Pangnyu Phom visited the construction sites of Chief Medical Officer’s Office building, new District Hospital Dimapur building, Chümoukedima Hospital and CIHSR on Monday
According to a press release from the Dimapur Chief Medical Officer Dr Moatemjen, the minister inspected the construction site of new District hospital Dimapur building and evaluated the progress of the construction. Upon completion, the new District Hospital Dimapur will be 200-bedded and an additional 50-bedded building construction is also under way. The 50-bedded will be prefabricated and will be completed by December 2021, the release stated.
The construction of the CMO’s office building will soon begin and will be completed within 22 months, the CMO stated in the release.
Pangnyu is also said to have visited the 200-bedded facility at CIHSR which is expected to be completed by October 2021, and the 100-bedded Chümoukedima Hospital where construction will restart within this month. Pangnyu urged the contractors to complete the ongoing constructions at the earliest so as to cater to the needs of the public smoothly and efficiently, the release stated.
