Hiyo Entertainment is presenting a night of entertainment with Nise Meruno, all male group- Zowe Madrigal and Alobo Naga & The Band. On the evening of June 18, from 6:00 pm onwards at Niathu Resorts, Hiyo Entertainment in its maiden venture promises to deliver a night of music coupled with an after show dinner buffet for every guest.
Interacting with media personnel at Hiyo Café, Dimapur, Ira Kire, representative of Hiyo Entertainment informed that Hiyo Entertainment is the brainchild of Betoka Swu, proprietor of Hiyo Café Dimapur. There will also be performances by dance troupes of Hope Centre for Excellence, Dimapur. Covers of artist like Bruno Mars, Kings of Leon, The Script etc, besides original compositions is slated to be performed by Alobo Naga and The Band. DJ Sumika, band member and one of the few turntablist to be part of a band will also be performing. While Zowe Madrigal will render popular songs and add twist of sacred music melody to it.
Nise Meruno informed that he along with Zowe Madrigal has been invited to be personal guests by The Neemrana Music Foundation. This music centre is top notch with patrons like Ravishankar. The all male choir has been earning kudos as the only neo classical male voice group in the country. Zowe Madrigal led by its Director Nise Meruno will be performing at the Habitat Centre on June 22 and at Neemrana Fort Palace on June 25. He also revealed that they will be performing an assortment of fusion and folk songs from different countries. Nise expressed delight at having the chance to expose the talents of Zowe Madrigal to big patrons of music, nationally. But the bands are definitely not first timers in the national scene, with having performed for the President of India- twice!
Also, sharing the stage will be popular band ‘Alobo Naga and The Band’. The new age band has recently recorded a theme song for International Short Film Festival Guwahati titled ‘Painted Dreams’. The song has not been officially launched as of yet. The band has also performed and recorded for ‘Smith & Jones Music Ka Tadka’, a reality show where musicians of all genres from India come under one platform and perform their original composition. The show ill be soon aired on Bindaas Tv on June 13. And not stopping at that, they are soon awaiting the release of their first EP this month. Nise quips, “A dinner-music- show, is quite clichéd!
