PHEK, AUGUST 29 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Phek has issued a traffic advisory restricting the movement of heavy motor vehicles (HMVs) along the Pfutsero–Khezhakeno Major District Road (MDR) following damage to a culvert near Kami village caused by incessant rainfall.
Light motor vehicles, however, are exempted from the restriction, the advisory said. The DC has directed the Executive Engineer of PWD (R&B), Pfutsero Division, to carry out repair works on the culvert at the earliest. All concerned have been advised to take alternate routes until further notice.
