Dimapur, January 16 (MExN): The 55th AC Naga People’s Front (NPF) Tobu, in a meeting held on January 11, 2011 discussed with serious concern, the irregularities of the office staff posted at Tobu under various departments. A press note issued by C. Nangba Konyak, president and P. Shamaoh Konyak, general secretary, NPF 55 A/C Tobu stated that the responsibility for this miserable condition of office transaction falls on respective head of every department placed at Tobu ADC HQ and that “The head of departments are the main culprit.”
The note also mentioned that even during national occasions such as Independence day, Republic day etc, they dare to fail to turn up and their negligent and adamant attitudes, despite several reminders, are uncalled for and strict disciplinary action would be initiated against every erring departmental heads failing to respond positively through this release. Further, the note warned that if any head of the office when found absent during any office day, his/her discreditable evidence shall be established and will be furnished to the highest authority/authorities of the departments for concern, with adverse recommendation for disciplinary action according to legally available service rules.
