Hornbill Night Carnival Kohima enters second day

The Hornbill Night Carnival Kohima as part of the 23rd edition of Hornbill Festival 2022 entered the second day today.

In Kohima main town, the Night Carnival is organized by Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industries (KCCI) and supported by Nagaland Tourism.

Over 120 stalls have been set up along the stretch of Y. Junction to Razhu Point.

Hornbill Night Carnival Kohima has been a major attraction and an integral part of Hornbill Festival.

The Carnival features food stalls, entertainment and other business activities.

The Night Carnival starts from 4:00 pm till 9:00 pm daily and it will continue till December 10.

KCCI president, Kezhazer Angami told The Morung Express that the Carnival witnessed huge increase in number of the visitors against the previous night.

He maintained that the tourists are having good time and roaming freely around the carnival because of the peaceful situation. There is no report of anyone creating nuisance at the carnival, adding that no complaint has received so far.

Earlier, the KCCI requested the citizens to be part of this Night Carnival and encourage the young entrepreneurs as around 80% stalls belonging to Naga entrepreneurs.
