Hutuophezou Day on December 29

Kohima, December 12 (MExN): The 13th Hutuophezou Day will take place on December 29 at Tuophema village Ampitheatre.   Hutuophezou Day is an event held once in every five years. It is an occasion of get-together as well as census enumeration of the descendants of Tuophema village.  

All the diasporas of Tuophema village particularly from Razhaphe, Razhaphe Basa, Tuophe Phezou and Botsa villages and from Kohima and Dimapur have been informed to be prepared and compulsorily attend the occasion.  

A special invitation is being extended to all in-laws and their families in this occasion, stated a press release from Kechangulie Kense, Information and Publicity Secretary, Organizing Committee. An extravaganza night will be organized by the Tuophema Youth Organization on December 28 evening in honour of descendants.  

Accommodation and logistics will be provided by Tuophema village council for “our brethrens coming from outside the village and requiring the same.” All the descendants of the village have been requested to reach Tuophema on December 28.
