Kohima, February 15 (MExN): The Indian Air Force (IAF) has invited applications from un-married male and female Indian citizens, for grant of Commissions as Commissioned Officers in the IAF in the Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Branches for the various courses.
The Courses for Men (commencing from Jan 2012) are as follows: In the Flying Branch, for grant of Short Service Commission: No 9 Short Service Commission (9 SSC). In the Technical Branch, for grant of Permanent Commission: No 80 Aeronautical Engineers Courses (80 AEC), and for grant of Short Service Commission, No 52 Short Service Commission (52 SSC). In the Ground Duty Branch, for grant of Permanent Commission: No 131 Ground Duty Officers Courses (131 GDOC) and for grant of Short Service Commission, No 24 Short Service Commission (24 SSC).
The Courses for Women (Commencing from Jan 2012) are as follows: In the Flying Branch, for grant of Short Service Commission: No 38 Short Service Commission (38 SSC). In the Technical Branch, for grant of Short Service Commission: No 52 Short Service Commission (52 SSC). In the Ground Duty Branch, for grant of Short Service Commission: No 40 Short Service Commission (40 SSC).
The Course for Men (Commencing from Jul 2012) for grant of Permanent Commission is: UES - 2012 (Permanent Commission).

The Last Date for receipt of Applications is February 22. Separate advertisements have also been released for the men and women categories in the Employment News Dated January 22, 2011 and in the other leading newspapers of January 22 and 23.
