DIMAPUR, MAY 3 (MExN): Faculty members from the Department of Computer Science, ICFAI University Nagaland participated in a two-day Faculty Orientation Workshop organised under the Skill Development & Industry Connect (SD&IC) initiative of the ICFAI Group on April 20–21 at Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
According to a press release, Assistant Professors Lamneithem Vaiphei and Avinash Vinci attended the programme, which brought together faculty members from ICFAI Group universities. The workshop was conducted in collaboration with industry partners including NASSCOM FutureSkills Prime, Celonis, MongoDB, and Oracle Academy.
The first day featured sessions on digital technologies, industry expectations, and the integration of certification-based learning into academic curricula. A MoU exchange ceremony with Celonis and MongoDB was also held during the programme.
On the second day, sessions were conducted at Oracle India Pvt Ltd, covering topics such as Oracle Database, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and Oracle Academy resources. Participating institutions were also presented with Oracle Academy University Membership Certificates.
The release stated that such initiatives are expected to enhance industry-aligned teaching, promote student certifications, and strengthen collaboration between academia and industry.
