ICFAI University Nagaland hosted its annual IUN Youth Festival on March 11 and 12.

Chümoukedima, March 14 (MExN): The ICFAI University Nagaland hosted its annual IUN Youth Festival at its Sovima campus, Chümoukedima on March 11 and 12.
A press release from the university stated that the event was a celebration of culture, music, dance, art and sports showcasing the talent and unity among the students’ community. Students from all the institutions in and around Nagaland participated in various competitions in the festival.
The first day events were centered on promoting culture and tradition of the state through cultural display, cultural fashion fusion and traditional songs. The main highlights of the day were traditional games including bamboo stilt race and spinning tops. Modern events like Mobile Photography Competition, Pencil Sketching Competition, E-Games, 3X3 Basketball competition were conducted as well.
The second day witnessed events including Folktale Narration Competition, Poetry Slam, Men’s Fitness Competition, Beat Box Battle, Guitar Competition and Cosplay. The festival ended with a concert which had opening acts by ‘The Project’ and a solo act by ‘Akok’ and an electrifying performance by the band ‘EXI’.
