Kohima, June 23 (MExN): The Higher & Technical Education Department, Nagaland has notified the change of nomenclature of the Institute of Communication & Information Technology (ICIT), Mokokchung to Government Polytechnic, Mokokchung.
According to a notification, the change has been effected following the approval of the State Cabinet conveyed through a letter issued by the Cabinet Secretariat (Cabinet Cell) dated June 15, 2026.
The department stated that the new name will take effect from the date of issuance of the notification and shall apply to all official and administrative matters.
All concerned departments and establishments have been requested to take necessary action in accordance with the change, informed the State DIPR
