Dimapur, August 31 (MExN): The HQ IGAR (N) on Tuesday reported that based on a “specific input, Security Forces raided and sealed an illegal running mess and living barrack of NSCN (R) and apprehended seven of its cadres” at Chekiye, Dimapur.
“The cadres were using the mess and barrack as a base for illegal activities,” it alleged. “The apprehended cadres were then released at Diphupar Police Station after due warning for violating Ceasefire Ground Rules,” it stated.
In another incident, based on a specific input Security Forces in an operation apprehended four individuals and one NSCN (IM) cadre and seized counterfeit Burmese goods at Kukidolong, Dimapur on August 29.
The apprehended individuals alongwith recovered counterfeit Burmese goods have been handed over to Excise Department, Dimapur for further investigation, the HQ IGAR (N) stated.
