
Kohima | July 16 : The improper recognition of Indian Institute of Para Medical Technology (IIPMT), at Kohima will remain closed till the matter of proper recognition is solved while the NSF will initiate the issue to the state government. The IIPMT students along with parents had a consultative meeting with Naga Students’ federation (NSF) officials today at its conference hall, where the vice principal is also reported to be present at the meeting.
President NSF Kelhouneizo Yhome disclosed that the institution will remain closed till the matter is solved, in the meantime it also demanded from the Principal Zinyü to withdraw the FIR lodged by against the students. The president also said that it has decided to summon the Managing Director of Sealdah Training Society for Medical Research (STSFMR) Kolkata on or before 23rd July with valid documents.
The presidents expressed his displeasure over the absence of the Principal and police personnel at the meeting. While urging the state government for proper recognition of the and details of any institution before establishing in the state, Yhome also said that it is the sole responsible of the Managing Board and the students should not be blamed.
