Imagi.NATION, a Kohima based event management firm was launched on September 14. Run by a team of eight young entrepreneurs, with a driven passion, the team aims to take event management to a higher level professionally and go beyond Nagaland.
"We are a group of young entrepreneurs who share the passion and dream of providing platform and opportunities for celebrating life and ideas that have significant social impact," mentioned Elivino Seleyi, Managing Director during the launch.
The team members include Elivino Seleyi as the Managing Director, Kevithuto Koso as Executive Director, Niwe Mero as Creative Director, Chiset Disong, Lelo Mero, Khyochano Ngully, Kezha Ltu and Danny.
One of the hallmark events of the newly launched initiative is ‘Sound Reflections’ which will host accomplished personalities from various fields to share their skills, and experiences with people with special emphasis on a social issue. Sound Reflections 2.0 is scheduled on September 21 at RCEMPA Jotsoma, 4:00 PM. The event will feature Tali Angh who will share his experiences in Music and a special focus on the issue of 'Youth Empowerment'. "Our plan is to challenge our youth, to consider rightful avenues that would enable them to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of our society and our communities," stated the team.
During the launch, a prayer was invoked by Rev. Dr Rachülie Vihienuo, Pastor, UBC while special numbers were also presented.
