Written and composed collaboratively by Imna Yaden and Imtikumzuk Jamir, the song is rooted in indigenous soundscapes and contemporary expression. It echoes a powerful message: the wisdom of the past guides our present.
“‘Lirumedemdi’ pays homage to our ancestors, celebrating their enduring legacy of truth, honesty, and integrity, while reaffirming a collective promise to walk the path they laid before us,” a note on the release stated.
