Phek, December 6 (DIPR): The Department of Science & Technology, Government of Nagaland jointly with the Confederation on Nagaland Farmers Union (CONFU) will be launching low cost indigenously designed Feed Crusher (Pedii) and Technology Demonstration of Biomass fired Dryer and Sanitary Napkins at 12:00 noon on December 9 at Sakraba Town under Phek District. N Secretary, Department of Science & Technology, Government of Nagaland C.K. Nihekhu NCS will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The innovator Senior Scientific Officer, Department of Science & Technology, Government of Nagaland Dr. Zaveyi Hiese, will present the keynote address while CONFU President Lanukaba will deliver short speech. Brief note on the genesis of Pedu will be presented by Phek Unit CONFU President Nerayi D. Vadeo and welcome address by Phek Unit CONFU Vice President Tselemong. The function will be chaired by Sakraba Youth President, Kuhusheyi. There will be free distribution of Sanitary Napkins to women folk.
