A three-day long indigenous organic cotton products exhibition-cum-sale got underway in Kohima from September 19. This mini exhibition was formally inaugurated by Kaisa Rio, wife Chief Minister, Nagaland during the screening of TakeOne documentary film ‘Where Cotton Flowers Grow’ at the Directorate of Art & Culture, Kohima. The exhibition featured cotton products from Exotic Echo Society (Yoruba SHG), Khiamniungan Menyiu Hoikam, Kiiriitsechu Cotton Group, Meluri and Chizami Weaves. The event also witness demonstration of cotton spinning and weaving. The exhibition will continue till September 21 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Entry to the exhibition is free.
