Dimapur, January 13 (DIPR): The Socio Economic and Caste Census 2011, which was scheduled to be conducted from November 1, 2011 to December 15, 2011 in the State of Nagaland is now postponed and re-scheduled from January 16, 2012 to February 29, 2012. This has the approval of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India vide their letter No. Q.18013/12/2011-AI (RD) dated the 26th November 2011. Also, the Socio-Economic and Caste Census shall be conducted in all the Urban Area of Nagaland as notified vide Government Notification No. TC/HOME-7/2011 dated 10-01-2003 and dated 01-09-2003 annexed herewith from January 16, 2012 to February 28, 2012. This was stated in a notification issued by Chief Secretary Nagaland Lalthara, IAS.
