Longleng, September 10 (MExN): The Longleng District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held under the chairmanship of M Shayung Phom, Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB at DC office DPDB hall on September 8.
The Principal of Government Higher Secondary School, Longleng, Bautung highlighted the infrastructure grievance faced by the School and appealed to the members to extend full cooperation and assistance for all round development of the institution.
The Longleng DC reviewed the last meeting minutes and the constitution of a committee for the District Award. He informed that 13 deserving officers, villages and individuals were awarded with district awards during the 75th Independence Day celebration.
Agenda for establishment of departments such as Transport, Employment and Home Guards were also discussed and deliberated at length. The house decided to pursue the matter and put up for government approval to redress the grievances faced by the public.
Kughalu Chishi, DPO, LRD presented the activities and development implemented by the Land Resources Department in the district during 2020 through power point.
Department of PHED and Water Resources will present their departmental activities in the next meeting.
