The undersigned would like to share a few lines about the Naga integration before the Nagas in general.
The nomenclature of ‘Naga Integration’ is an essential part of the 9th Points Agreement made between the Govt of India (GOI) and the Nagas in 1947. And the same particular agreement point of the integration was referred in 16th Points Agreement while the present undemand Nagaland Statehood was formulated in 1963. Now the question is; which particular integration agreement point of the Nagas is reject by the GOI and why stated that the Nagas must forget about their integration after keeping the Nagas waiting for the implementation of the said agreement point including the other points for the last five to six decades?
In this regard, since the 9th points agreement has been already done by both the parties and for which if the Nagas are really willing to live under a single roof, the Nagas have nothing to ask the GOI to implement for the integration. Hence, if the Nagas are willing to become one, it is the duties of the Nagas only to implement the integration point in order to come together and live under one umbrella. The Nagas those who are living in neighbouring States must give up their respective States and declare that they have already joined with the Nagas of Nagaland.
To speak the trith that in which area of land the Nagas are presently inhabited within the neighbouring States are absolutely belongs to their own respective traditional land of Nagas and no one nor any Govt. have the right to snatch away their forefather land form their hands.
The Nagas have every right to declare that they implement the integration of Nagas according to the agreement points made between the Nagas and the GOI. Also the Nagas while implementing of their integration, there is no need to take help from the GOI neither take further permission from the GOI nor ask the GOI to allow us for Naga integration. But it is only the duties of the Nagas to come together and declared that the Nagas are now living in a single roof today. So that no neighbouring States Govt. neither the GOI nor the UNO can disagree with us that the Nagas have already implemented their integration point accordingly and also the GOI do not have any right to oppose the Nagas living in a single roof after giving up their different respective States.
However, it is lamented to perceive that the Naga National workers have break out the Naga political issues into pieces instead of implementing their integration, killing each others by forgotten about the Nagas Independence demand and their integration and now there is no meeting point for them.
In case, if the Nagas become one under single roof, the question of re-drawing of the neighbouring States boundaries or stating that they shall not give an inch of land to Nagas for integration which does not arise at all as because the Naga inhabited areas of land in Northeast never belongs to the neighbouring States.
But today it is sad to speak out the truth that the present Naga Underground are daily doing their business with the Nagas for their own benefit instead of protecting the rights of the Nagas. And the same business will surely invites curses for themselves and their descendants which will come to them from the bloods river of Nagas if they do not realized from their mistake and come back into the mainstream of the Naga common goal.
