In the first match at Sovima Cricket Ground, Niuland defeated Kohima by 84 runs after posting 20/10 in 48.3 overs.
Afzal (44 off 33) and Shamwang Wangnao (31 off 51) led the batting effort.
Kohima’s bowling was spearheaded by Thu puluzo Lohe, who claimed 4/45 in 10 overs, with support from Kelhousilie Kodh (2/34) and Solomon Awungshi (2/35).
In reply, Kohima were bowled out for 117 in 32.4 overs, with Solomon Awungshi top-scoring with 45 off 55 balls.
Niuland’s bowlers dominated, led by Hokaito Zhimomi (3/48), along with Saurav Kumar (2/16) and Anil Gupta (2/21).
Zhimomi was named Player of the Match.
In the second match at Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Chümoukedima secured a seven-wicket win over Dimapur.
Batting first, Dimapur posted 254/8 in 50 overs, powered by Hem’s 126 off 116 balls, while Sanjay added 37 off 54.
Chümoukedima’s bowlers, led by Imliwati (3/38) and Mughavi Sumi (2/34), restricted the total.
Chasing 255, Chümoukedima reached 257/3 in 47.2 overs, with Aloto Sumi scoring a match-winning 118 off 136 balls and Sede contributing 92 off 106. Sumi was adjudged Player of the Match.
The tournament will now move into the semi-final stage on April 22, with Chümoukedima set to face Kohima at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium, and Niuland taking on Dimapur at Sovima Cricket Ground.
