Mokokchung, April 15 (MExN): The inaugural programme of the Inter-District GHSS & GHS Tournament 2026 was held at Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung, on April 14, with Dr Kekhriehoulie Yhome, Advisor for School Education & SCERT, as the special guest.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Yhome stated that the objective of the tournament is to provide a platform for young talented sportspersons to come together, compete, interact, and develop leadership skills. He added that it is conducted with the objective of enabling youngsters to one day represent the state and the country, bringing laurels in the field of sports.
The Advisor further claimed that the ecosystem of sports in Nagaland has undergone significant improvement, with the State Sports Policy in place to provide necessary support to talented sportspersons to explore and achieve their goals
