IQAC team reviews autonomous status of Kohima Science College

Kohima, December 6 (MExN): A three-member IQAC External Peer team from Nagaland University, led by Prof Santosh Kumar Singh, Dean of the School of Sciences, Prof Joginder Singh Panwar, Director, IQAC (NU), and Prof Y Sundarayya, Head, Department of Physics (NU), visited Kohima Science College, Jotsoma to ‘review and monitor the Autonomous Status of the institution.’

The team held a meeting with the Principal, Vice-Principal, Heads of Departments, and members of the IQAC, during which they outlined the objectives and scope of their visit. Dr LilongchemThyug, IQAC Coordinator, Kohima Science College, delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the college’s profile and its academic and institutional achievements in recent years.

During the visit, the Peer Team inspected all 13 academic departments including the central library and interacted with faculty members, students, and research scholars. The team commended the collective efforts of all stakeholders and encouraged them to continue striving towards the attainment of the institution’s envisioned goals.

The visit concluded with an exit meeting, anchored by Dr LilongchemThyug, during which the Peer Team presented their observations and feedback. The programme ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr Samadangla Ao, Member, IQAC.
