IRCSN induction course on Sept 23

Dimapur, September 13 (MExN): The Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland State Brach (IRCSN) will be conducting an induction course for the newly enrolled volunteers of the Red Cross on September 23 at the IRCSN conference hall, Kohima. A press note issued by Zakie Kire, general secretary, IRCSN therefore requested all the volunteers to be at the venue by 10:30 am on the said date. Anyone who wishes to be a volunteer for the Red Cross is welcome to attend the volunteer’s induction programme.
The note also mentioned that IRCS is a humanitarian organization which provides relief in times of danger or emergencies and also promotes health care. The IRCS aims to inspire , encourage and initiate at all times, all forms of humanitarian activities so that human suffering can be minimized, alleviated and even prevented an thus  contribute to creating a more congenial atmosphere for peace. The volunteers of the Red Cross play a vital role in all the humanitarian activities of the Society. Therefore, the IRCSN once again calls upon all the interested persons to register themselves as Red Cross volunteers. Enrollment of volunteers is a continuous process therefore anyone willing to be  a part of the Red Cross movement and use their spare time for humanitarian activities may kindly contact the IRCS Nagaland State branch, Kohima or their nearest District Branch of the Red Cross.
