Zakie Kire, General Secretary, IRCSN receiving award for the Best and 2nd Best Performance in Fund Rising in the country on September 27.
Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): The Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland State Branch has been awarded the Best and 2nd Best Performance in Fund Rising in the country for the years 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2009-10, by the Indian Red Cross Society National Headquarter, New Delhi on September 27.
The award was presented to the IRCSN in the recently held annual general meeting of the, IRCS NHQ, New Delhi on September 27. The award was presented to the IRCS Nagaland State Branch by Gulam Nabi Azad, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, who is also the Chairman of the IRCS NHQ, New Delhi. Zakie Kire, General Secretary, IRCSN received the award on behalf of the State Branch.
The general secretary in a press release said that the achievement could be made with the constant support and guidance of the Governor of Nagaland, Nikhil Kumar, who is also the President of the IRCSN, Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister, Nagaland and Vice-President IRCSN, and Kuzholuzo Neinu, Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Nagaland, and Chairman IRCSN.
