Irene Dkhar from Meghalaya crowned the coveted title of Miss Northeast 2022 at the impressive Miss Northeast Beauty Pageant 2022 held at Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima on November 3.
Dkhar received a cash prize of Rs 1.50 lakh sponsored by Vuto Hyundai and Floyd Hyundai.
Eshanee Hatimuria from Assam and Dyna Jomo from Arunachal Pradesh bagged 1st and 2nd runner-up title respectively.
Hatimuria received Rs 1 lakh sponsored by MLA Imkong L Imchen while Jomo awarded with Rs 70,000 sponsored by Hero Anak Motors Kohima.
The sub tile winners included; Miss Photogenic- Eshanee Hatimuria from Assam, Miss Perfect 10- Irene Dkhar from Meghalaya, Miss Talent- Eshanee Hatimuria from Assam, Queen of Hearts- Lika Chophy from Nagaland, Miss Beautiful Skin- Mannasha Devi Sapam from Manipur and Miss Multimedia- Dyna Jomo from Arunachal Pradesh. The event took place under the initiative of Northeast Beauty Pageant Organization (NBPO), presented by Beauty & Aesthetic Society of Nagaland (BASN) and sponsored by Government of Nagaland.
15 contestants from all eight north eastern states vied for the prestigious title.
