This note is for everyone to judge whether India truly wants solution with the Nagas or not. To begin the narration:
In the 1940’s, the Greater Merge Movement of the Nagas was forcibly suppressed by GOI taking the help of the Meitei convert Hindus. Again, the notable Sir Akbar Hydari Agreement (9th Point Agreement) entered into with the Nagas was to remain with India and never outside it.
In the 1950’s, the GOI sent its Armed Forces to Naga areas to crush the Nagas. In which thousand Nagas were slaughtered like sheep’s.
In the 1960’s, to vitiate the Naga Movement, the GOI brought the 16 Point Agreement much against the wishes of many Nagas. Later, it was reportedly-learned that Mr S.K Dutt the then Deputy Director SIB was said to be the moving man behind this agreement. It was reported that, Nehru secretly congratulated him (S.K. Dutt) when the agreement was signed.
In the 1970’s, the Shillong Accord was clandestinely entered by hoodwinking a few Naga leaders by GOI.
In the 1980’s, NSCN was divided into two groups by GOI through its propaganda that ‘some Naga leaders are preparing to accept the Indian Constitution’. However, this division brought the Naga Political Issue into the International limelight.
In the 1990’s to tarnish the international image of the Naga issue, the GOI, most probably through the State(s) agency(cies) produced and directed Naga-Kuki clash.
In the 21st century, to hinder the peace process, the GOI, most probably with the state(s) National Political party(ies) along with a few selected Naga national workers (most probably with those who have good rapport with the Indian armed Forces) are timelessly working to confuse the Naga masses by threatening and condemning all the Naga NGO’s and the Naga Negotiators whom the GOI has officially invited for peaceful Dialogue.
Fellow Nagas, this was, this is and this will be the deceptive smile of the GOI till Nagas achieve their goal. Therefore, be alert and prepare a Christian Crusade to save the Naga Family members from the grip of the chameleon faced –GOI!
