Do coalition spell instability? It could be 'yes' and 'no'. It depends on who leads the pack, who constitutes the pack and several other extraneous factors. It will be no easy task for new Rio-led government to manage all the partners all the time. Coalition demands an ethos of 'give and take' by both the major and minor partners. In order to keep the coalition government intact, Rio must make compromises like never before.
In Nagaland, it is a well-known fact that the state exchequer is being misused on useless expenditure, depriving basic health care and quality education especially in the far flung areas of the state. Addressing ENPO issue should be in the top most priority list of the new government.
Despite spending huge amount of money there are no proper roads and bridges in the state. In fact, some districts have no road at all. Without good road, no economic development will take place. Good road is the need of the hour.
The lack of industries, whether it be, the small scale or medium scale industries are the causes for the menace unemployment issue in Nagaland.
Today, Nagas not only need opposition-less government but also corruption-less government.
