KOHIMA, AUGUST 22 (MExN): The North East Council which held its meeting today at Jalukie town decided to replace its starting letter Z with J for their name Zeme. From now on Zeme would be spelled ‘Jeme’. Today meeting was attended by the intellectuals of the Jeme Community, which included T Zeliang, Longbe, Jeme Council Nagaland, and president of the Jeme Council North East India besides other.
The meeting also appointed Tisam as Literature Committee member in place one deceased, while two more members viz Heluibe and Poiluiding in the committee. The meeting also decided to imposed its literature in 79 schools by next academic session. Heineilung and N Diswang Hau also spoke during the meeting. Meanwhile the organizer of the meet has appreciated the Peren DRDA director Kilai for patronizing the meeting.
