We start our journey of work each day
Toil and sweat every season, each day
With thirst and hunger, we labour
Dawn to dusk shouldering every hour
Dignity of labour by blood, we swear
Job as coal miners without fear
Though wage earners but rich in heart
Work far from home yet not apart!

Though we work in daylight or late night
Thought we go early or return at night
Born to labour, sweat for living
Yes, real bread winners for living
But the joy of work turns into tragic end!
Who is our neighbour and a friend?
What cruel hands have touched upon us?

At dusk, our journey of returning
Kept families informed of coming
To spend at home together in happiness
Share joy of work, laughter and tiredness
We were on the way to home, no doubt
Taking short route to reach quickly about
Its the same voyage we take everyday
Atlas ! we couldn't reach home that day!
That day, leads to our fate of doomsday!
That day, met tragic end and massacred!
Oh! What an evening of gruesome act?
That deserved to fall without any fact!
The joy of X-mas turned into "No More"!

We knew you all are still waiting for us,
Waiting with cooked food and warm water
Dawn to dusk, every day and every night
We knew, we were gone for day’s work
We knew, the limit of each day’s work
But not of this cruel hands on us!
But not for this journey of “No return”
If only we knew of this cruel hands on us,
We could have bid you all a good farewell, well
But not a word we utter, directly we were slain!

Atlas! Alas! Wait not of us, we are on other side!
We are in forever journey of “No Return”
The cruel hands made eternal journey of “No Return”
