JSUN, JPYO caution against obstruction of development works in Jalukie

Jalukie, July 12 (MExN): The Jalukie Students' Union Nagaland (JSUN) and the Jalukie Pumling Youth Organisation (JPYO) have expressed support for the ongoing developmental initiatives in Jalukie Town and its surrounding villages, while urging authorities to ensure the timely completion of infrastructure projects.

In a joint statement, the organisations appreciated the government for undertaking development works, stating that the initiatives have accelerated the growth of Jalukie Valley and made it one of the fastest-developing regions in the state, benefiting the local population.

They urged the concerned authorities and implementing agencies to maintain the momentum and complete all ongoing projects, particularly road and other critical infrastructure works, without delay so that the benefits of development reach every section of society.

The organisations also reaffirmed their support for all lawful development activities undertaken in the larger public interest.

Cautioning against attempts to disrupt development works, JSUN and JPYO said any individual, group, organisation or entity found obstructing or deliberately hindering such activities within the jurisdiction of Jalukie would be held accountable under the law.

Describing such acts as detrimental to the aspirations and welfare of the people, the organisations said they would oppose any obstruction through lawful and democratic means and remain committed to safeguarding public interests while ensuring that development continues unhindered.
