Dimapur, April 17 (MExN): The Kachari community in Kushiabill village has opened a language school, Gyanswrng Fwrwng Shali, with the motive to guide the youths and make the new generation aware of their own culture and traditions.
The school was inaugurated by Head GB of Kushiabill Subhas Mech during a function at the Kachari Community Hall in Kushiabill on April 17.
According to a press release received here on Sunday, GB Langkang Mech; Community Chairperson Dharma Dhaj Sonowal; Council Secretary Biswajit Mech; VDB Secretary Dip Mech; and other well wishers of the village attended the programme.
The initiative to open the language school by the dedicated youths of the community was applauded by the leaders, the release stated, adding that the motto of the school is ‘Unity, Perseverance, Triumph.’
