Winners of the Mr Chümoukedima season 2 at Nagaland bamboo Resource Centre on September 30.
Chümoukedima, October 2 (MExN): Kaiminthang Singson of St Joseph Higher Secondary School Chümoukedima was crowned Mr Chümoukedima season 2 in an event held at Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre on September 30. The pageant was organised by Meraki Entertainment in association with Hotel Season, powered by Almighty Nagaland.
In a press release, Meraki Entertainment informed that the all the three winners will get a direct entry to 3rd edition Mister Nagaland Man Hunt, “the biggest man hunt in the State.”
15 contestants vied for the title and went through three rounds- ethnic wear, designer and formal round in the competition.
Yimwapang Jamir of Tetso College and Keneingulie Kuotsu of St Joseph HSS were named first and second runners up, respectively. The subtitle winners were Kaiminthang Singson - Mr Popularity; Yimwapang Jamir - Mr Multi Media; Keneingulie Kuotsu - Mr Best Walk; and Yimwapang Jamir – Mr Best Ethnic Wear.
Miss Nagaland 2nd runner up, Jentiren Jamir graced the occasion as special guest.
The judges of the event included Toshizen Longkumer choreographer and season pageant coach; Supou Khiam, entrepreneur and social worker; Talikaba Longkumer president of The Blue Curve; Vitoka Assumi Mr Dimapur 1st runner up 2022; Theja Sekhose, founder and director TS Academy of Design Kohima; and Dr Nukshi Esther, founder of Institute of Technology Counselling and Educational Research.
The pageant organizers were also judges for the series of sub-awards.
Tonoto Zhimomi groomed, mentored and choreographed the contestants with Bashing Nyam as the contestant manager. The designer of the event was Atm Sueshe. Nito Aye and Toreechi Jane were the hairstylist and makeup respectively.
Various performances were presented in the grand finale by Keneisenuo Sorhie, Khumtiba Mongzar, Aghali T Aye and Kings Generation. The event was hosted by Imnasenla Rachel.
