Kami Union Pfutsero attains 75th anniversary

The Kami Union Pfutsero today celebrated its 75th Anniversary at Pfutsero Town on the theme “Our past our present-your future.”


The historic monolith stone was unveiled by Minister for Planning & Coordination and Land Revenue Neiba Kronu.


Speaking on the occasion as guest speaker, Kronu stressed on the importance of maintaining good relationship with others and at the same time urged the community to look ahead for better tomorrow.


He acknowledged Lt. Ngulo Khape of Kami village and Lt. Weprelo Mero of Pfutseromi village and the other pioneers for their good deeds.


The minister said that the fear of the Almighty God and co-operation among different villages and communities leads to development and prosperity.


He said the present government has committed to develop Nagaland and also assured that with the common public support, the government will develop roads and other amenities.


Further, Kronu wishes the gathering a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year 2019.


The programme was chaired by Weprenyi Kupa while brief history of Kami settlement at Pfutsero was highlighted by Kewechelo Khape, retired Additional Director School Education.
