KBBB Ministry of Father School sponsored by its Women Department was extended to the occupants of District Jail, Mon from May 2 to 4.

Mon, May 5 (MExN): The Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangjüm (KBBB) Ministry of Father School sponsored by its Women Department was extended to the occupants of District Jail, Mon from May 2 to 4.
The resource persons were Rev L Metjen, Church & Evangelism Secretary, KBBB, Mon and Education & Literature Secretary Rev A Peihwang Wangsa. They facilitated the course for 26 fathers under the theme ‘A loving father makes a loving family.’
The programme concluded with feed-washing ceremony by the resource persons with the help of volunteers including Mon Theological College Vice Principal, Bangwang Wangsa, KBBB Evangelist Thaochi, KBBB Computer Assistant Tonnei and District Jail Chaplain Yeangvei.
“It was first of its kind conducting such a programme in Mon District Jail,” Rev Metjen stated in a press release.
A prayer session was held for “divine forgiveness” to transform their lives. “The KBBB could see the essential need of jail ministry where the Church needs to extend its Caring Ministry in the days to come,” he added.
