KBBB Platinum Jubilee culminates in Mon

Mon, December 15 (MExN): The Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangitim (KBBB) celebrated its Platinum Jubilee under the theme ‘Celebrating the Amazing Love of God’ at KBBB Mission Centre, Mon from December 11 to 14. 

According to an update received here, it stated that over 3000 people attended the celebration. The keynote speakers for the celebration were Rev Dr Namsenc R Marak, Secretary General CBCNEI, Rev Dr Mar Pongener, General Secretary NBCC, Rev Dr W Pongsing, Former Executive Secretary, & At-large Missionary, KBBB, Rev T W Yamyap, Former Executive Secretary, KBBB. 

The key invitees from across the region included the Executive Secretary, ABAM,Executive Secretary PBCA, Executive Secretary KBBB (Myanmar), Executive Secretaries of Nocte & Wancho tribes of Arunachal Pradesh. 

Some former KBBB staff narrated the amazing love of God through thick and thin, no matter the challenges they faced. The KBBB acknowledges the contributions of various individuals and churches towards the success of this celebration. 

The KBBB thanked the Chief Minister of Nagaland along with Nine Legislatures from Mon district for three KM road black-topping and construction of culverts and some other major repairs between fire brigade junction, Mon and KBBB Mission Centre; the Administration of Mon headed by the Deputy Commissioner; Col Akum Keitzer 42 AR, Mon; late Rev T Moina's children; the KBBB churches and some individuals had contributed in cash and kind, providing five Mithuns and essential necessities for over three thousand attendees for four days. 

The Platinum Jubilee concluded with a joint pledge of five resolutions adopted, proposed by the Drafting Committee KBBB Platinum, to continue to live as Konyaks- undivided under the love of God. It has also appealed to the GoN for a sincere and stringent implementation of the NLTP Act. It has also pledged to voice out against the hindrance faced by Christian in the neighborhood or any place in India. Furthermore, it resolved to reach out to unreached places for the purpose of Ministry.
