Kohima, January 12 (MExN): Following the success and breakthrough of the Interdenominational Crusade spiritual revival and blessings mega crusade being organised by the Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC), the church conducted a thanksgiving service on January 11.

The programme was held at Lotha Baptist Church, Purana Bazaar in Dimapur with all crusaders.

Speaking during the thanksgiving service on Thursday, Rokopra Mekro, Pastor Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) and Convenor of the crusade emphasised the need to work on saving souls on earth that will be accounted for in heaven.

He asserted that presently it is the time of the Holy Spirit and this crucial time calls for the believers who are into fasting and mourning and in prayers while citing from the Bible Joel 2 who will be filled with the Holy-spirit in end times.

He emphasised on the word of God, which is a 'two-edged sword', and like a fire and water, which should manifest in people's lives and called upon the gathering to be rooted in the word of God.

Pastor Mekro also preached about the Year of Deliverance (Exodus 2:23) and Year of Double blessing (Isaiah 61: 8) and urged the believers to remain steadfast in their walk of faith.

A short speech was delivered by Pastor James and he extended his gratitude to God and towards the Organising Committee for the opportunity to serve God together.

The programme was led by Khriezovolie Suokhrie, Chairman Men's department, Koinonia Baptist Church.

Mentionably, the Koinonia Baptist Church had conducted the mega crusade from December 5 to 10, 2023at DDSC Stadium Dimapur under the theme “Arise, shine... And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you” (Isaiah 60:1). More than 120 prayer houses, homes, centres, fellowship and churches took part in the programme as Prayer Warriors, volunteers, counsellors and other stewards.
