KCCI to hold Inter-Ward Futsal Championship

Kohima, September 29 (MExN): In celebration of its landmark Golden Jubilee (1976–2026), the Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) is set to organize the mega Inter-Ward Futsal Championship from October 15 to 17at Khuochiezie (Kohima Local Ground).

The tournament is open to all 19 administrative wards under Kohima Town.

Each ward is entitled to bring two teams.

The champion will carry a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh while runner up will get Rs 60,000.

Losing finalist will be awarded with Rs 20,000 each.

For individual award, Golden Boot, Golden Ball, Golden Glove and Best Coach will receive Rs 5000 each.

The Kohima Town Club (KTC) will professionally manage the three-day tournament with technical support from Kohima District Football Association (KDFA).

Entry form will be available from October 1 onwards at KCCI office during the office hour.

The last date for submission of form will be October 12.

Registration details, fixtures and tournament rules will be communicated directly to all respective ward authorities.
