Kiphire, March 12 (MExN): The Kiphire Displaced Yimchungru Union (KDYU) has mourned the sudden demise of Ahukiu, DB Pungro Town on March 9 following a stroke at Pungro Town. Executive Chairman of KDYU, S. Lunso Yimchungru in a condolence note stated that late Ahukiu was a dedicated and sincere person who always stood and worked for the uplift of the society in general. “His death is a great loss and created a vacuum in the society,” the union said. It further acknowledged his yeomen service towards the society. Meanwhile, KDYU extended heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
