Kevisezo Keditsu bagged the wrestling championship title at the 52nd anniversary celebration of Meriema Village Youth Games & Sports Meet 2021 at Meriema village on December 29.
Vizokholie Kesio, Vizotuolie Kesio and Vikeduolie Kesio stood 2nd, 3rd and 4th places respectively.
Kevisonei-u Usou emerged as the champion in the under-16 wrestling category. Medosetuo Keditsu, Seyiekhrietuo Kesio and Vilhousatuo Keditsu stood 2nd, 3rd and 4th positions respectively.
Meanwhile, the closing ceremony of the 52nd anniversary celebration will be held on December 31 at 1:30 pm. Roko Angami, President, Nagaland Football Coaches Association and former international football player will be the guest of honour. The function will be chaired by the organizing committee member Dr Thepfudi Shiiya.
Prize distribution will be led by Meriema Village Youth Organization vice president Ruokuohelie Vipfhe. Vote of thanks will be proposed by organizing committee member Keneiwelie Shiiya.
