Khomi Village | November 5 : MLA & Advisor, New & Renewable Energy, Art & Culture and Science & Technology, government of Nagaland, Deo Nukhu yesterday said that better efforts should pondered upon for promotion of agricultural products in order to join the mainstream of Vision 2020 as food sufficient does not simply complies with rice sufficiency.
Inaugurating the Khomi Villages Rural Primary Market, at Khomi Village, Nukhu urged the Khomi Villages to utilize the permanent added assets for the benefits of the people. Seeking the cooperation of Khomi community he said, “A bright future awaits the people of the Centre Chakhesang” and every agricultural product would mean for the people’s treasure following crossing their villages with the ongoing two lane construction.
Assistant Marketing Officer, Directorate of Agriculture, Pungotso informed that the Primary Rural Godown Market was constructed by Agriculture Department under TMM-III 2009-2010-funded by central ministry.
Vesukho Ex-VCC, Upper Khomi chaired the function, Pastor, Lower Kho Khuvocho invoked God’ Blessing. The function was further enlightened by an indigenous folk tune presented by Husuta and Husuve, words of gratitude by Ciekropa while closing prayer was pronounce by Vecuzo.
