Kidnapping case: MSUD demands faction to hand over culprits

Dimapur, April 2 (MExN): The Mao Student Union Delhi (MSUD) strongly condemned the sensational kidnapping and murder of two school-going kids in Senapati and at the same time demanded the underground faction holding the culprit to hand over the culprits to the ‘People’s Court’ for befitting punishment.

A press release received here from the president of the MSUD, Samuel stated that all the suspects are in the custody of  the underground organisations. However the release failed to name which group, though the news media has reported that the suspects are in the custody of the NSCN (IM).

The MSUD anyhow, wondered why ‘they’ have remained silent for so long since the kidnapping incident occurred on December 14, 2006. In this regard, the MSUD demanded the concerned underground organisations to reveal the outcome of their investigation to the public without further delay.

‘We want transparency and justice, without prejudice irrespective of the involvement of any person, group or organisation’ stated the MSUD.

The MSUD also condemned the dastardly act of kidnapping and killing of two innocent school going children, Hrinii Hubert and Muheni Martin at Senapati in Manipur. This gruesome murder reflects the moral bankruptcy and degeneration of the system of accountability and the rule of law in our present day society, the release stated and added that the brutal killing has shaken the conscience of every citizen and such kind of heinous crime has no place in the civilized society.

“This grisly crime also reflects the entrenchment of gun culture, making easy money, greed and lose of human values” stated the MSUD.
