Kim Woojin captivates fans, performs to full house in Dimapur

Performing to a full house, K-Pop sensation Kim Woojin captivated the hearts of his fans in Nagaland this evening,at IMC Hall, Dimapur.

Young people turned up in hundreds at the mini-concert of Woojin's 'The Moment Tour India' and sang along to his hit numbers and cover versions of popular artists like Adele, Maroon 5 and Lewis Capaldi.

Woojin kicked off the concert with ‘Ready Now,’a track from his first mini-album as a soloist. The famed artist,known for his strong vocals and stage presence, performed more than 25 songs from his two mini-albumswhile the audiencecontinued to chant"WoojinWoojinWoojin."

Interacting with fans in between the show, the audience who were made up mostly of teen girls and young women, the 26-year-oldsaid he was overwhelmed by the love and passion showered on him. The fans in turn,responded with unmatched cheers, expressing their excitement in Korean.

The crowd danced along to Maroon 5's popular track, "Sugar," as Adele's "Easy on me" and Capaldi's "Before you go" had the crowd crooning and taking in thesombre and soulful ballads.

Before the mini-concert, an exclusive fan meet was held with dedicated fans, where a Hi-Touch with Woojin, along with games and different perks were unlocked with the tickets.

The global artist has lent his voice to the soundtracks of popular K-Dramas – ‘King the Land’ and ‘Reborn Rich.’ He is also the first Korean artist to lead an HBO Max series titled, ‘Beyond the Wardrobe.’

Woojin's India-tour began on October 23 in Delhi as he headlined the 'Road to Cherry Blossom Festival.' His next pit-stop would be Bengaluru as he takes centre stage at the K-Wave festival, with the last leg in Mumbai on October 29. The mini-concert and fan meet in Dimapur was organised by Pink Box Entertainment and Musik-A as the production partner.
