Kiphire DPDB discusses crucial agendas

Kiphire, June 24 (MExN): Kiphire District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held at DC's conference hall under the chairmanship of MLA & Chairman DPDB C Kipili Sangtam on June 24.

The chairman urged the officers to be in the station and make public aware of different schemes and projects under their department, stated a DIPR report. Proposal for posting of Junior Engineer, Power and PHED Department at Seyochung, Construction of Road connectivity to GMS PHED Kiphire Town, proposal for Road Extension from NH-202 to entrance of District Hospital Kiphire, Adaptation of Schools and Approval of Local Area Development Schemes 2024-25 were discussed and forwarded to the respective authorities for final approval.

Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer NCS & Vice Chairman DPDB highlighted the agendas of the day.

Felicitation certificate were awarded to Zivi L Jingru and Kumari Kiusvi KM of Loyola Higher Secondary School, Kiphire for securing highest marks in Mathematics and Science respectively among the schools under Kiphire district in the HSLC Examination 2024. Certificate of appreciation was also awarded to Dariyali Goswami, Program Lead, Piramal Foundation, Kiphire for rendering her valuable service towards the Aspirational District Programme, for Kiphire District.

DC Kiphire Temsuwati Longkumer expressed his appreciations to the members for their participation during the discussion and also for rendering their valuable service through their presence.
