Kiphire, July 6 (MExN): MLA & Chairman, District Planning and Development Board (DPDB), Kiphire T Yangseo Sangtam on Monday urged the landowners not to hamper developmental activities in the district.
According to a DIPR report, addressing the Kiphire DPDB meeting on July 6, MLA Yangseo said that Kiphire being an Aspirational District, the government has envisioned many developmental policies, schemes and projects to be implemented in the district. He encouraged everyone posted in the district to work together as a team and to come forward for successful implementation of all government programmes
He stated that during the global pandemic, many have been affected especially daily wage earners and labourers. He also condoled all those who lost their lives during the pandemic. He further lauded the DTF, Medical team, Tribal leaders Civil Societies, NGOs for their fight against the pandemic and especially the front line workers risking their life to save people.
The members discussed various agendas which were decided to be recommended for approval to the higher authority. They discussed registration of Eastern Sumi Kukami Hoho and proposal for approval of LADP 2021-22 under 59 A/C & 60 A/C. After deliberation the meeting decided to forward the establishment of Community Based Eco Tourism at Mimi to the NEC.
The Chairman also informed that Agri & Allied departments of Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Land Resources and District Land Record & Survey will give PowerPoint presentation in the next DPDB meeting.
