Kohima, January 28 (MExN): The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has directed all the wet markets particularly butcher shops, fish and fowl shops within KMC jurisdiction to display the KMC approved rate chart.
KMC stated that cut meat should be covered with appropriate cover. Use of digital weighing machine and wearing of apron is mandatory, it stated adding that hygienic condition has to be maintained.
Defaulters shall be penalized, according to Zapuno Sophie, Chief Executive Officer, KMC.
